It’s been a while since I’ve driven the 101 freeway west on a Sunday afternoon. It was just fine until about a mile to my exit to pick up a friend for lunch. That last mile took as long as the entire drive so far … ugh! Managed to pick up my friend and we took one of the canyons to Pacific Coast Highway. Ended up at one of my favorite spots, Paradise Cove.
Yes, the views are gorgeous! With validation, the $40 parking tab drops to $6. The trick is to order at the beach bar for parking validation. If you’re hungry, then go ahead and order the tasty food, but that’s where you’re gonna pay for that view! 😉
