In retrospect, I now understand the quizzical look from the guard at the front desk of the building, but I had a suite number. So he replied to my inquiry about a creative meeting, “Suite X10, yes sir, that would be in the North Tower. Good luck!”
My heart was pounding with excitement! 😀

When I arrived on X floor and found suite X00 and X40, I asked one of the guards, now in NBCUniversal uniforms, where suite X10 was.
They were amused. 🙂
I. was. not.
“That would be next door sir!” 😮
Next, I call the meeting coordinator to verify which building the meeting is in … except, the next thing I heard, “All circuits are busy. Please try your call again later.” … for an hour!
Tweeted my displeasure to the carrier who, deserving of credit, did actually respond very quickly with, “8 years of loyalty means a lot … blah, blah, blah. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.”
My reply was along the lines of, “How do you compensate for a missed first meeting with a new agent?” adding #FirstImpressionsCount to my #AllCircuitsAreBusy hashtag! 😦
Odd … no answer to that one yet … in 4 hours.
But my story has a happy ending, so far. The agent has a sense of humor. We’re reset for Friday. Whew! 😀
