Spent the weekend at the 31st Annual Toshiba Tall Ships Festival at the Ocean Institute in Dana Point Harbor. I was on the lead boat for Friday evening’s sunset parade of Tall Ships as they passed in review. Saturday and Sunday was all kinds of activities inside the institute and around the grounds, piers and nearby parks. The Tall Ships were open for viewing topside with re-enactments of battles both dockside and at sea. There were mermaids from Sheroes Entertainment, LLC. swimming in a tank and talking with all the kids, pirates wandering the crowd, and so much more!
Over in the Pirate encampment, I found these MADE IN CALIFORNIA Hawaiian shirts that are really cool. I really like these from Dana Point’s own High Seas Trading Co.
