As part of the fun at the 31st Annual Toshiba Tall Ships Festival at the Ocean Institute in Dana Point, California mermaids and pirates entertained guests from both a swim tank as well as in the courtyard, where kids could get up close and ask all they questions they could come up with!

When on dry land, Pirate Johnny Stix provided the mermaid transportation.

One attractive young lady mentioned to me that she would give everything if she could find a man to carry her around with such loving attention. She then asked if I knew his number? I said, “Yeah, he’s a ten!” 😉
She melted! ❤

Next came Mermaid Melody, who kind of threw the staff at the Ocean Institute a loop when she asked the kids if they would like to have a spur of the moment dance party. Completely unexpected and unplanned for, the staff scrambled to get some music piped in fast! As you can see … the kids definitely enjoyed the results. 😀
