JCPenney, Eva Longoria and Hispanic Heritage Month

Sunday, while on assignment for PR Newswire, I had the honor to photograph a truly inspiring event. JCPenney and Eva Longoria co-hosted a Hispanic Heritage Month Luncheon honoring twelve young Latinas from the Los Angeles area and benefiting the Eva Longoria Foundation. Participating in a panel with Eva were actor Jaime Camil and soccer star/ESPN commentator Monica Gonzalez.

As part of the publicity process, PR Newswire maintains an agreement with Thompson Reuters to display key photos on their Jumbotron in Times Square. A camera is trained on the screen 24/7 to capture “proof of publication” as was done with this photo yesterday.
