25 Years … and Counting!

New Year, New Cameras, New Projects

January 1, 2020: As the sun sets on 2019 and we celebrate 25 years of creating entertaining content, it’s time to reflect on the past a bit, highlight new low-light mirrorless cameras, and look forward to our projects in development.

Lee Roth: Creating Entertaining Content Since 1995

Lee Roth Media opened its doors on January 1, 1995 as one of the very first web design studios in existence. Our original clients were computer game companies and a few television shows. Today, we’re known as Roth Stock Pictures.

In February 1997, Lee won the WebDweeb web design contest for HBO’s U.S. Comedy Arts Festival. Six months later, the show’s headliner, actor/comedian Sinbad, asked Lee to take over website management for his Soul Music Festival in the Caribbean.

So basically, the head of our company is a contest winner that was invited to come play in Hollywood … and never went home! 😝

Thank you Sinbad for living by what you say … “In the entertainment business, you gotta give the next guy his break.” You gave Lee his.

With twenty-five years serving the Hollywood entertainment community, we’re doing our best to pay it forward … Come on 2020‼️🎉🥳

New Cameras

New technology in photography from Nikon gives us new capabilities for shooting production stills and behind-the-scenes photos with low-light sensitivity and silent mirrorless cameras.

For camera buffs, our Nikon Z6 cameras have a native ISO of 51,200. This makes it possible to literally shoot in candlelight. And the new Z-Series lenses from Nikon are so sharp and vivid, the images are amazing!

When looking at the full-size photo above, the Pacific Park lettering in the center of the Ferris wheel is tack sharp. You can see the individual LED’s that make up the letters!
