The Roth Stock Pictures Executive Team

Lee Roth, Producer, Head of Acquisitions

Lee Roth, Producer, Head of Acquisitions

Lee Roth began producing entertainment content in 1995 when he opened one of the very first web design studios, evolving over the years into what is known today as Roth Stock Pictures. In 1997, Lee won a web design contest for HBO’s WebDweeb web design contest. Six months later, he began working with actor/comedian Sinbad, launching his career in Hollywood.

In 2001, Lee started shooting set stills for independent films, and went on the red carpet as a press photographer at Hollywood’s most prestigious events including; the Primetime Emmy Awards, Screen Actors Guild Awards, the Academy Awards®, and countless other awards shows, movie premieres, fashion shows, charity and private events.

After a three year gig performing clearance and licensing for a large publishing firm, in 2015, Lee began working directly with film financiers advising them on feature film and television projects. Since that time, Lee has read thousands of scripts and currently works as a producer, developing and shepherding projects from script all the way to delivery and distribution.

Regarding our team, Lee met Geoff Brown (below) in 1997 when Lee joined actor/comedian Sinbad’s production team as his “WebDweeb” for VIBeTV, the first late night talk show to go live online, and Sinbad’s Soul Music Festival, an HBO event, the first live event online from the Caribbean. They have been friends ever since.

The one constant in Lee’s career? Producing entertaining content. The platform has been getting larger the whole time. Lee often says, “I’m an HBO contest winner who got invited to come play in Hollywood. I just never went home!”
